Cycling Kinross to St Andrews

Post by island girl »

Hi, planning to cycle the following route....from Kinross follow A911 round Loch Leven tp Wester Balgedie. Then take Dryside Road round wood to Strathmiglo, pick up A912 to Falkland. Then B936 through Freughie onto Kettlebridge. I then intend to take route via Ceres which i'm happy with. What I want to know, is Dryside Road to Kettlebridge suitable for road bikes, many thanks.

I do remember Dryside Road looking like the photo but that was years ago when it had been newly surfaced.

My understanding is that it is now a bit worse for wear, but that it still is possible to be used by road bikes.

This link should help as the members use the route regularly.
