I guessed it, but the background gives it away.

You can see the power lines (possibly a bit further north than the ones in the photo) at the end of the Streetview near Carthouse Farm (link).

Here's one which is a bit - er - different. I've pixelated part of the piccy to avoid giving the game away. Need both "where?" and "when?" I think.

I don't know, but I'll guess.
The church - and especially the tower - reminds me of Edinburgh. Can the architectural reproduction be trusted? 16th century?
Re: where is this?
Spot on! That wasn't too hard was it!? The model - which according to the plaque was made in the 1950s - is on display in the Museum of Edinburgh in Canongate, and is supposed to depict Edinburgh as it might have looked at the time of Mary Queen of Scots. The pixelated-out portion represents the Castle of course.bovlomov wrote:661-Pete wrote:Here's one which is a bit - er - different. I've pixelated part of the piccy to avoid giving the game away. We were there for most of this week, partly to watch Fringe shows, in one of which our son was a performer. All good fun!
