We considered one, looks neat. It seemed expensive for what it is; front wheel drive, low capacity battery, basic brakes (I personally hate roller brakes, and it has just adequate front V brakes) . I haven't actually ridden one; we bought a second hand Raleigh Motus (hub) for quite a lot less the day before we might have test ridden the Perdu.

You'll probably do better with the likes of Woosh (http://wooshbikes.co.uk/), though there isn't much choice with hub gears (https://www.e-bikesdirect.co.uk/search/hub_gear/). Or, unless you really rate the hidden battery https://www.e-bikesdirect.co.uk/brands/ ... ctric-bike looks a much better bike for only a little more.
