Ninety spokes will make an 8" chef's knife.
Can one construct a planer-thicknesser from a few more, say 1567? Perhaps it's possible to transform a large sheaf of the right kind into a steel bike frame even better than a 531 'un?

If there aren't any shops, we have all sorts of issues, but why make a knife like that at all?Cugel wrote:On the other hand, it's quicker to go to the shop. But will there be any shops in BoJoklownland?
We have very nice pair of VERY SHARP Vitorinox kitchen knives. Excellent knives, and bought from an excellent knife shop.

The Fibrox handled ones are about the best pound-for-pound knives on the market. I'm still using one of their predecessors, plus some others, more and less exotic, iyswim.
