That's great - but how do they do the return leg? Assuming there's no motor hidden inside all that metalwork? :mrgreen:

This was in the Guardian just yesterday - kids in downtrodden areas of Colombia using gravity biking as a means of self expression and a way of escaping their troubles.

In answer to Pete's question, these kids hang on to passing trucks to get back up the hills, sometimes using homemade hooks on a line.

What speed were they doing?
Didn't look that fast to me. 40odd mph? It wasn't very steep.

Interesting but the aerodynamics of the bikes in the link could be improved on considerably :)

At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D
