I did edit my post back along to clarify what I quoted you for.
But I can't find the post now or it didn't post correctly et cetera , So I'm going to apologise for the way it came out. The two lines weren't to be meant to read as one statement.

Yeah I'm confused to Been watching the rugby so late to catch up.

Are you being serious? It's Parliament who are preventing the democratic will of the people (i.e. the result of the 2016 Referendum) being carried out.

Letwin passed, no vote on main motion.

Johnson must write for delay tonight according to Benn act.

Benn act only lapses once all legislation needed goes through.

Seems likely it will go through given numbers, unclear when.

Not clear what Johnson will do tonight.

Summary: Fog in channel. Continent cut off.

I think you'll find that it's quite a lot of people (1 million?) in London today who also want a re-assessment of the "democratic" snapshot of the people's opinion back in 2016 (which was heavily influenced by a tissue of lies). What's wrong with asking again - now that we know more about it?

The people chose £350m a week extra for the NHS, preventing us being swamped by Turkish immigrants (when we have our veto removed), the "cake and eat it", etc.. Even Farange was signing the praises of the "Norway solution". Nothing like Johnson's deal (nor May's deal). So this deal is not "the will of the people as expressed in the 2016 referendum".

So Parliament is a) not stopping anything (just wanting to scrutinise legislation which is what we pay them for) and b) trying to reconcile the vast gulf between what was offered to the electorate and what is being delivered.

We know that the £350m a week was a complete lie
We know that the EU was never going to take away our veto over new joining states (e.g. Turkey)
We know that we could never be obliged to join in any EU army
We know that the EU is not preventing us protecting polar bears
We know that "they don't need us more than we need them"
We know that the Irish Border is a major issue (not as dismissed by all Leave campaigns)
etc., etc., etc.

No, I don't expect that. Just try and re-phrase your message differently. "Oh you lost anyway get over it" is so hackneyed. Don't you realise our eyes just glaze over when we read those words?

This is not about preventing Brexit, it is about protecting their constituents

Parliament is perfectly right to act as a safety valve for the NHS, workers rights, food standards and all the other things the present deals are willing to sacrifice
