Well you're certainly right there Al.

On truth and delusion, where exactly fo you believe I live, and why?

And why does it matter?

Because traitors who have left UK borders for too long have no right to vote and must accept whatever patriotic Brexiters do to them, even if it's based on lies like £350m/week for the NHS, Turkey joining the EU, open borders with Syria and Iraq, or that the EU restricts trade more than freeing it. There are currently 53 Free Trade Agreements, some covering multiple countries. There are some restrictions, such as not selling arms to North Korea or Iran, but the UK would probably do that anyway (else face sanctions from the US) and why does Al object to that?

I'm also fascinated by why Al knows better than I do where I live.

Doubtless he'll be along to tell us soon.

No.

Can you come up with an alternative to wanting to remain?
You did not understand my question, or maybe my grammar. I did not ask you to come up with an alternative to wanting to leave. Hence you cannot ask me that identical question, simply with "leave" replaced with "remain".

What I wanted is for you to come up with one - or preferably several - different reasons for wanting to leave. We've already heard the "I never wanted to join" one so please leave that to one side. Other reasons, please!

As for me - assuming that you'd phrased the question correctly - yes I can come up with many reasons for wanting to Remain. We were lied to - especially about the slogan on the bus. The Government has been paralysed, unable to pass any legislation other than Brex*it. There's still a risk of No-Deal, which will paralyse trade between us and the EU - especially at the Channel ports. There's a serious risk to health product availability. There's a serious risk to availability of fresh foods. Inflation may rocket (hitting pensioners hard!). The loss of migrant workers will seriously damage the fruit and vegetable-picking industry (Riverford, one of our suppliers, are particularly alarmed). Many campaigners on the Leave side (I'm not saying, all) were driven by xenophobia and racism.

And to cap it all, I'm certain that Remain is what the public now want, in a second referendum. The BBC can broadcast selective and curated vox pops suggesting otherwise, until they're blue in the face. I'm not fooled...

Want any more?

we are not fooled either.
So the public now want to stay?
The rest is doom and gloom the To quote what you said above.
I could say how do you know but I will Just say like you say  (My eyes are glazing over) we to have heard enough of your mantra.
You will just have to carry on crying a little longer.
What do I want? I still want to leave.
If you asked 100 people to give you reasons on their vote In or out, how many what percentage do you think you would be dissatisfied with.
I would put it to you that it would be a higher percentage than what you would agree with.

Soon be Christmas :)

I'm not sure why you feel my opinions should be constrained by my location, but nevertheless, your conviction leaves me dazed and confused.

Where is "here"?

Where am I?

We deserve an answer.

I am in Torbay South Devon barely 2 miles from where I was born.

Couldn't stand the woman or what she stood for and what she did, but at least she was strong and had the backing.

I want to leave the Union of Europe asap.
I never wanted to join in the first place.
We all know my sentiments on this!

However, I do not agree that all people who want to leave UofE support BoJo or any of his ilk.

Your political leanings appear to be further to the right after voting for that odd Widdiecombe homophobic woman

And the middle left and the far right is further to the right, unless you're far left?
Mick is not the first Labour supporter has said they admired Thatcher.
I am middle right.

IME peoples political leanings often make no sense.

No shortage of people who think they lean left/middle/right but then think or behave completely at odds with that.

Enlighten us with your wisdom and knowledge, what exactly is it that remainers are so delusional about exactly.
Chapter and verse would be both instructive and educational.
As I've posted so many times on this thread convince me with facts and I may change my mind, keep on with the blather and vague untruths and there'll be no change on the remain side of this debacle.

BTW if your argument is so sound then why are Brexit supporters so afraid of a second referendum,BoJo's deal or remain seems a good choice on the ballot paper.

Why do you bovver with the Al fellow? You know the "answer" you'll get.

Well, I never bother reading your diatribes, you have too much time on your hands. Sad really..

If we ended up with that most remain voters would be content. It's a vision of a Briton that probably never existed and certainly won't after Brexit.

Neither. Do you specialise in avoiding questions? Which trade restrictions agreed at EU level do you want to lift? Arms to North Korea? Or to Iran? Or another one (name it)?

I agree. It is the press who are being irresponsible IMV in not telling the British people that Brexit is tight and will encounter opposition all the way along, particularly if people's lives are directly affected.

The Press, like the Government, and even some on these pages have misunderstood democracy. They are of the view that if you just miss a vote you are if no further consequence.

What I fail to understand is the argument that a new referendum would be anti-democratic that it amount to the elitest govt telling the people "you got it wrong, so vote again now and get it right". Does any one really believe that utter piffle that doesnt convince a 10 year old let alone an adult? Why do some spokespeople for Brexit still peddle that utter nonsense against the common sense that when you start a new project your decsion really a choice, is more about desires, preferences, hopes and wishes than facts, until you look into it and see whats really possible? We now have 3 versions of Brexit - no deal, Boris' and Mays & of course remain, so any rational person worthy of the name would surly like a say. The way Brexit-mongers have behaved shows the depravity that people can sink to?
