Thought since I have already asked for advice it was only polite to introduce myself- Julesb.
I was recommended this site via a ski forum.
I have mountain biked for ages from rigid to fully sus.( mainy round Keilder, Hamsterley, C to C), but as my Biking buddies got older and less fit we more and more sought out decents without climbs (very hard to come by).
This year I have found new cyclists to play with, who know some really good and varied trails. I tried to get out most Sundays and have treated myself to a new bike (Commencal).
I take the bike to France each year (we have an apartment in the Alps on the Tour De France route), and can't wait to take my new bike down the mountains :)
