Modern chains or otherwise.

Only up to 9 speed can normally be reused though I think.
Which is fine for me.

IIRC you can get reusable links in 10s (definitely) and 11s now.

Check out the KMC website.

cheers

I think that the post is referring to the actual pins being re-usable as with a rivet extractor/ chain splitter which as far as I was aware stopped at eight speed chain or nine speed with caution.

Yep. :D
Used 10sp for donkey's years.
11sp reusable too though not personally going to increase from 10.

Dunno about 12sp but I bet they use 11sp chains.

BTW, 9sp Campag chains are ok on 10sp Campag cassette and systems. Tried it, and it's fine.

There's a skip near here labeled General Waste.
Perhaps he lives in there.

I think Captain Pugwash characters might be classed as inappropriate, so I wont mention them! :?

I use an old rag to clean the brushes, though it's not a perfect solution.

I wonder if anyone makes a chain-cleaner cleaner :)

Did not work as well as common household degreaser. That is my go to. If a part is really encrusted, I'll use spirit solvents
