Hi,
Ireland Scotland, clash of the nations, Was looking good near end but Scotland simply gave away too many balls And penalties.
Apart from that Well matched.

Just been invited to a friends house to watch the France England match. I stopped watching France England games with him years ago as we usually lost :(
Can't refuse his invite today as he's got a spare ticket for the France Ireland game in Paris that he's offered to me :) :) :)

Rugby?
That's a place in the Midlands, isn't it?

How many nations live there, and why are they kicking off?

Morning all, Sitting through all 3 of the 6-Nations matches got me ready for the Superbowl LIV, live
A real thriller of a game, best I've ever seen on TV. I won't tell the story in case you want to watch it on Catch-Up TV :P
I ca't crow about the rugby results, well Ireland, who's style I like to watch, had a brutal thriller with Scotland, then my wife is Welsh with Valleys roots, but our daughter i a dyed in the wool England nutter! So things get tense at this time of year!
She has an additional issue that affects her? She supports & follows Carlisle United?
They cause limitless grief on Saturday at Mansfield Town. To come away with a draw was equal to all of the fans Walking on Water", no I don't mean a waterlogged pitch!
Watching sport is supposed to be a fun time    TTFN MM

Funny: I had to dig through the Guardian website to find the result of France-England. There was a report referenced from the front page but the article didn't mention the final score.

I did find out eventually, though, so you don't need to tell me. :D :D :D
Have we got time for another cuppa?

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/rugby-union
It's on there twice! As well as various headlines like
Eddie Jones admits the brutal reality that ‘it’s like we forgot how to play’

There's also a rather unfortunate quote from Feb 1st:
Eddie Jones: ‘I want England to be spoken about like Liverpool are’

Hi, Wants to have England Rugby thought of like Liverpool???
Many different tilts have been made about "Ireland's Second City", joke, the one that hurt most was "Pity City", so maybe it will be Pity England Rugby?
But know as true for the majority of folk in Liverpool there are only 3 football teams? Liverpool Fc, Liverpool Reserves and Liverpool Youth    . I wear carlisle United colours so what do I know! MM

I had set aside the afternoon to watch but when I saw England making a fist of it I turned over and watched "The Train" a terrific 1964 film about stolen art with Burt Lancaster. One for Mick when hes not up the pub

As for American football, if they edited out all the beer/advert breaks it would be 100% better.
