Average match has 18minutes of actual game-play.

Just FYI ...

It's much closer to 10-12 minutes actually.

Many different tilts have been made about "Ireland's Second City", joke, the one that hurt most was "Pity City", so maybe it will be Pity England Rugby?
But know as true for the majority of folk in Liverpool there are only 3 football teams? Liverpool Fc, Liverpool Reserves and Liverpool Youth    . I wear carlisle United colours so what do I know! MM

There's loads of jokes and prejudices about liverpool and it's people. I've heard a lot and since at one time a bit more than half my family came from liverpool I often confronted those prejudices.

At least with football right now there's only positivity about liverpool's performance. At work they no longer talk about liverpool's performance it's more about whether United can get the fourth spot in Europe. Oh how good that feels! :D

Can't refuse his invite today as he's got a spare ticket for the France Ireland game in Paris that he's offered to me :) :) :)

So is it your fault or have England got the French malaise? Are they going to ask of England, "which England team is going to turn up? "

It's on Youtube, but in sections.

If I have nothing better to do to pass the time, I may watch it.
Thanks! :D

Yes, no problems!

Most frequently visited, is the Rising Sun Inn - locally called The Riser.
Down hill from here.

Next most frequent is the Queens Head - locally know by us oldies and long-standing customers as Freddies.
Up hill from here.

Another one is the White Hart - locally know as the Hart.
Up hill, and down the other side!

Our Border Collie knows them all very well! :D

I think you walk the dog a lot, and always past a pub. Not that I reckon you'd pass it.

We take our son to tennis class and walk the dog nearby. This time the usual wall went quickly and we had 20 minutes left. Cue a pub visit. It had quite a few dog walkers there.

The Liverpool football team is very successful at the moment. They're having a better season than the England Rugby team.

But England rugby team were trying to be talked of as ruthless like liverpool. Did anyone see that in their match? Admit I didn't watch.

I expect England to finish 3rd or 4th. That was my prediction even before the 6 nations started. I kind of expect the season after a WC to be a dead loss for England. WC win is the target so season after is about rebuilding hence the generally poor performances I expect. Other nations seem to come good after the WC. I guess it's about the cycle they work to.

Hi,
Watching rugby is a bit like watching tennis you never know who's going to win exactly.
It's possible that with the rugby every game is looked at differently and they use a different policy in each game, that is to say every team decides to attack it a unique way?
Sometimes they out fox the other side Sometimes they just fall into a trap.

england's match against France was disappointing.
I am a bit surprised our scorer didn't get man of the match, considering he scored twice dodging all the competition all on his own.

I think France just came out of the blocks harder, faster, and more switched on.

England didn't a lot wrong to go 10 points down, but then they looked rattled for 20mins-or-so. 2nd half they started much better (winning the scrums helped!) but I think the French had enough grit to not cave in, and with 20mins to go they knew could win the thing and just battled it out.

I could probably make excuses about the wet ball, I think the French players had a dryer one …
