Mess up my device?
Help themselves if they so wish.
I'll just reset and restart.

Nothing on our devices, just the operating systems. Everything saved somewhere else.

Hi,
Been using 13.3 for some time now, it does have some page freeze issues, which was a fault with 13 etc.
I see 13.3.1 is out!

On another note apple has been fined over 20 mil for slowing down iphone 4?

Anyone else getting freezing pages in apps on 13.3?
I am using SE which is similar to iph 6.

You know you can turn off auto update, and decline if you want, (it will ask you yes / no)
I have decided to get on with it and downloading now.

I'm disappointed with the bugs in 13 (all versions) I wont be travelling with my iPad in future. It's been a fight to get stuff done e.g.
    ● open a few tabs, write a post in one, switch to another tab and ... it's thrown away everything you wrote
    ● copy text to clipboard, paste, paste, past a few times and suddenly empty clipboard
    ● sending photos iPhone to Mac - send 536, only 423 arrive and some files are randomly renumbered to conflict with other filenames send a few moments before
    ● etc., etc., etc.
How can Apple make so few enhancements 13>13 and introduce so many bugs!

I think a lot depends on what you do with your device. Mick has often said how little he puts on the devce so is less likely to come across issues. Make more extensive use of what the device can do and you come across more issues.

What is disappointing is how easy the bugs are to find and how repeatable they are. Obscure and intermittent bugs can be a nightmare to find even with extensive testing. But the sort of bugs I'm finding are very obvious and happen every time which must raise question about Apple's testing regime. In the days of Steve Jobs poor quality software would never have been allowed to escape in the state we're seeing today.

Yep, you are probably correct there.

Use the operating system and aps, and keep data and files somewhere else.
Don't clog up your device.

This MacBookAir I'm on now has a capacity of 120Gb and has 89Gb available. The used space are programs. No data or files at all other than a few photographs and couple of word processing documents ready-use on the desktop.

My iPhone 6s has 64Gb of capacity and 56Gb available.

Hi,
How are you finding the 6 on size over the 5?

The 6s vs the 5c is a quantum leap.
The size increase isn't huge, though is actually noticeable, but the clarity of the screen is so much clearer and crisper.

I still have my 5c and use it to listen to stuff via a bluetooth speaker. No SIM in the phone, but it's still connected to our WiFi network of course.

The 5c looks quite small in comparison to the 6s, plus looks and feels very old-fashioned too. I cannot imagine what the latest iPhones feel and look like, but this 6s will do me for now. The software is still supported of course, so it'll be fine for the time being.

I can no longer get BBC radio iPlayer and it will not support the sounds app. Talk about a throw away society.

Fortunately I recently acquired an Android phone.

I will never buy Apple products again.

This is a common error across a range of older equipment from tablets and phones through TVs and set-top boxes.

Digital Rights Management changed with an upgrade that some older hardware cannot run.

It is not an Apple problem, your android will probably run these because of newer hardware rather than the performance of the operating system

It's an Apple problem to the extent that Apple products cost way more than others.
