Post by jan19 »

Yes, I know I'm a southern softie....

but I've just been out to close the rabbits' shed door and close the garage and its VERY COLD!

just put the heating up - and I have to get up early to catch a train at 7.15 to Bristol.

did anyone mention the "W" word? In October?

Forecast snow in the midlands for later today. Can't find my gloves or my cap so might give the bike a rest.

We've got snow on them thair hills! ITs looking very much like Christmas is only next week away... Its a crisp and cold day here now, about 2 degrees. It has snowed for most of the morning, but not settled. Sun is out now.

Really took my breath away this morning and now I am using my full hand gloves as well, not my fingerless ones.

LAst night we had heavy hail storms, sounded like the bodies of birds where being chucked at the house!

Brrrrr.

Hail mid-morning for about 5 minutes down here.

Mrs Mick F is away seeing Daughter2, and was in MK this evening.
She reports it's been snowing for a half-hour or so .......
