A recommendation for Rayleigh

Post by ben8_n »

Hello. Can anyone recommend a good place to service road bikes around the Rayleigh, Essex area. Any pointers appreciated after moving into the area.

Richardsons Cycles or James Browning & Daughter in Leigh on Sea.

Otherwise, I think you need to travel further afield. Herongate Cycles (Herongate the other side of Basildon from you), Velo Schils Interbike (Marks Tey), Chelmer Cycles (Chelmsford).

I imagine there is something in Southend-on-sea, but I'm not familiar with the shops there.

I can definitely recommended Richardsons in Elm Road Leigh. I've been using them for 30 odd years.

Excellent team of mechanics and good wheel builders.

They now have a road racing team, so well up to date with modern trends.

Edit: They also have a basic website. http://www.richardsonscycles.com/index.html
