Damp and dreary ............. still.
I don't think we've had two consecutive dry full days since September or October.

Cycling is (for me at least) a pleasurable pastime. I really wanted today to be nice or at least ok for a good ride, but it's blowing a gale and raining ........... again.

Not cut the grass since August. Not been in the garden since before Christmas.
Constant (or at least it feels like it) rotten weather.

Boo Hoo!

It's a bright sunny day in Cardiff, but very windy.

I've had to cut my grass. Don't think it's stopped growing since I cut it in November. It was a struggle getting the mower through due to the growth. I can see how bad the weather has been by the reduced milage this month. We have only managed 230 miles this month so far when we usually hit 500 and have become bus shelter inspectors when avoiding the frequent showers. :(
At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway X2, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D

The time I have spent by the living room window has been so long and drawn out I think I will change my name to ‘curtain’.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

Nicely put.

It brightened up this afternoon. Tomorrow is forecast to be awful.

These winds are really doing my head in. There hardly seems to have been a day this year when there haven't been 20mph+ winds. It's been enough for me to abandon several long training rides one-way east to west.

Looking at Windy there seem to be horrendous fronts queueing up in the Atlantic ready to roll in one after another endlessly for weeks on end.

That's not even mentioning the rain

Hi,
I have been feeble this year only one outside ride this year :(
Bad side is my back is suffering when I don't ride outside.
Good part is that I can now easily do 10 pressups :)
Just need to do them with feet on the chair and hit 30..............no chance

The tread mill is good with a high of 3.26 miles, two years ago after a fall it was 2.2 miles.
Turbo is poor, struggle to get over 300 watts for an hour.........hey ho........... :P

Serious weather this morning – snowed heavily all night, covered to about 4" thick by 7.00am – by 9.00am raining and thawing to about 3" slush –over the top of shoes.
All gone by lunch time, but everything awash with water.

Chilly and damp, though at dawn the prospect was sunny and bright but windy.
Weather forecast was right though, as it's chucking it down again.

Next nice(?) day forecast is Thursday.
This is getting to be a pain in the wotsit. My cycling is really taking a hit, but I'm very glad there's no snow or ice or flooding here.

I pity those poor folk who are really suffering with this weather. My heart goes out to them.

Wet, due to turn into gales and sleet overnight.

Interestingly, gales and sleet is an anagram of genteel salads and eldest lasagne.

Damn, I'm doing too many crosswords. Blame the wretched weather. Eating too much, too.
Have we got time for another cuppa?
