Looking at doing 2021 race but need some advice on bike,
Currently I have a 2013 Specialised Secteur and having problems finding spare parts.
Do I get a new bike this year or wait till Jan 2021? And if a new bike any suggestions on make and model.

Definitely waits stocks are low at the moment.
If buying second hand then there will be done good post Corona virus impulse purchase bargains to be had.
A good endurance bike should suit.

As stated above. There will be a few quality 2 wheeled clothes hangers to be had, as soon as this situation calms down.

Bikes, you may find it hard to buy a bike of choice at present... my own LBS is running out of both stock and spares as a result of the crazy sales. Some replacement stock he has been quoted as delivery being December......
As said previously it is highly likely once summer is over and the newbie cyclists are back at work, the weather is cold wet and windy many bikes may appear in the secondhand markets.

Putting two and two together, from a post on the Deloitte Ride Across Britain facebook page, the OP is talking about that event so 9 days, unladen, no accommodation/luggage worries. Oh and it's not a race, it's a ride.
The Secteur is a long-discontinued model, it was the cheaper aluminium version of the carbon Roubaix. When you say spares are hard to come by, what are you looking for? The bike was fairly standard, any aftermarket parts should be available/compatible. There's the other question of whether or not it's really worth upgrading/keeping on the road as anything other than a winter training bike but only you can answer that.
In terms of a new bike, what are you looking for? Same sort of thing? What's your budget? Buying one... Shops are pretty mental at the moment, I know a few that have sold out of a lot of stock and the S/H market is pretty strong too so I doubt you'll see many earth-shattering deals at end of season. New (2021) bikes start coming in from about August although there could be some shipping delays due to the virus and the earlier lockdown.
