The whole section has been re-done. Nicer weather?

I remember the Google car going past, and I noticed that it went past at normal car speed. I always imagined that they would go along the roads slowly.

Note the date.
June 2018 in both shots.
They must have gone up later coz they didn't like my Cornish top on view in England.Google Streetview.jpg

I didn't have one to start with.
Cloudy and overcast day when they were there June 2018 and captured me.
Looking at my rides records, it was either June 8th or 29th as on both those dates I rode up onto Blackdown out of Mary Tavy on the A386.

The streeview with me in it, as well as the streetview without me, are both labeled as June 2018.
The streetview without me is a bright sunny day.

Therefore, I reckon the shot of me was June 8th, and they went back sometime later in June. Even if it had been as late as the 29th, they could easily have missed me.

I'm still there from September 2009 - pushing my bike while walking a friend's son to school. You have to be in the right spot on the road, only 2 locations include us as most of the September 2009 coverage is on a different day.

A joke's not funny if it has to be explained, even more so if you have to explain it to yourself when you read it again later.

I'm on streetview telling the tale to a neighbour in our street in 2008

I recently discovered the streetview van snapped me earlier in the same day when I was walking home from the newsagent

Well, Mrs P and I have found fame at last! I knew we'd appear before long, seeing as I remember seeing the Google car drive past on the roundabout. That's me in front, Mrs P just behind me. Going shopping of course...
