Help please....Blue competition rd1

Post by adamcraig0 »

Hi I'm new to biking and wondered what people's thoughts are against and old carbon or newer aluminium? I have seen this blue competition rd1 for £250 but never heard of them, is it worth a punt? I don't really want to spend too much yet as it's my first bike.
Many thanks

First generation carbon bike. Probably over built.

Check drive train and bearings for wear.
Check frame / forks for any obvious cracks.

Some people will put down s/h carbon bikes but I have a simalar vintage Cannondale and I've hammered it both day rides and touring.

What does over built mean? Sorry I'm not very good.
