Technically not bike stuff but it's been bought for bike use, a cheap hair dryer arrived today to help me apply the Helitape on the chainstay on my new frame and also a touch-up pen for a chip on the chainstay that would be far too visible with the clear tape protecting it.

Definitely not bike stuff, but the beer fairy brought 12 bottles of Vedett (mix of blond, white and IPA) and two bottles of Jever to try.

Limited edition iridescent Sidi Wire Carbon road shoes for me today. They are a kind of oil on water flip finish, and look stunning in the sunshine.

A sweat catcher thing for the turbo.

I'm not exactly managing the unified theme - Garmin sensors, Wahoo turbo, Elite wheel block and sweat catcher, Saris/CycleOps floor mat...

I like Sidi but is that a Boa-like lace system? I have that on some Spesh shoes and it is a pain.

I quite like BOAs - I've got them on several pairs of Spesh shoes; if they go on the blink Boa will send you replacements FOC.

I just find them a bit more difficult to get the foot in. The mouth of the shoe doesn't open as wide as a velcro shoe.

Let us know how you get on with it, in particular, does it keep heavy rain out.

...does it keep heavy rain out (?)
I have a feeling I will have plenty of opportunity to try that out... For years, my favourite heavy-duty base camp tent was the Vango Force 10 range, in particular, the mk 4, with or without the inner. Some of the Nordisk tents are not dissimilar, in my view.
