I noticed Friday one has appeared in Reigate Surrey, and temporarily reduces the carriage way on the one way system approaching from the south past the old Priory Junction to single file as one enters the town.
Though it causes queues/tail backs in to the town it does reduce the speed of the traffic a little making it I believe a little safer for all users. The lane is marked by the heavier larger Euro type barriers.

They must have been good if motorists were complaining. no chance of the traffic jams being caused by too many motor vehicles then????ChrisButch wrote:Already removed after MP complained! Full story on road. cc

The motorists' extraordinary privileges will lead us to oblivion.

Affluent Reigate, it just won't do to be held up by a cyclist lane whilst driving ones Chelsea through the streets.
Reigate can be unbelievable at times, an old narrow market town with two lanes of traffic with some thinking it is a street circuit.
