Alan millyard bicycle

Post by seph »

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos about mr millyards motorcycle creations, but I didn’t know he had built up any bikes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUak9sqJmnM
I love the clever concealed transmission! I’m sure there must be some downsides, but his ability to turn his imagination into reality is pretty impressive.. great shed engineering!

it is clever stuff for sure but the man-hours required to make it all just boggles the mind.... does he sleep...? ...

FWIW the drive system is (IIRC) something like an Alfine hub, enclosed and used as a mid-drive.

cheers

I first saw his work on the TV Motorbike Show. He seems to be the sort that takes the sort of ambitious ideas that some might think or talk about....... and then goes and does 'em!
I am full of admiration.
