Cycling UK is a charity overseen by a board of up to 12 trustees, at least 9 of whom are elected by the membership. Trustees are elected for three-year terms, with a proportion of the posts coming up for election every year.
Applications for this year's round are open now. There's a big information pack with application forms at https://www.cyclinguk.org/about/cycling ... -a-trustee . The pack also tells you where to address any queries, but if anyone has any general questions about what it's like being a trustee I'll be happy to comment on here occasionally.
The deadline for applications is 9am on 24th August.
In the interests of full disclosure, I should say that I'm coming to the end of my 3-year term as a trustee so may (or may not) be standing for election myself.
