Tour Planning Weather Site - Weather Spark

Post by simonhill »

For those still dreaming of a tour somewhere sometime, I came across this excellent weather site https://weatherspark.com/m/32397/11/Ave ... o-Portugal

It lists all (most of?) the things that a tourer needs to know in one simple page for a whole month for most major towns. Temp, sunshine, wind, rainfall, humidity, etc. Each facet is displayed in a number of useful ways, eg the wind is shown as direction by percentage and also by speed.

I've previously recommended sites like Accuweather but these take a bit of digging and only give daily figure or monthly averages. Weather Spark analyses each month's figures. I think it is fully international, using data from adjacent airports.

Enjoy.

That's a really useful site, great for planning and errr.... whiling away the time at work.

I do like the far-away foreign place bit.

I was expecting a weather forecasting site but this (as far as I could) just presents some stats on average conditions.
