Not enough trees for Ae.
By the fell road do you mean Mitchellslacks, Locharben, road? Hill tops are too level for there.
If it is D&G then I’d think north ( Carsphairn/ Sanquhar) towards Ayrshire border?

I know where it is. I am continually astonished at so called planning laws which allow such a carbuncle in this seriously under populated area. There is also a pretend Scottish towerhouse castle keep a few miles to the north which has the most amazing view as does the property in the photo. Do you want me to reveal all or is the idea to keep everyone in suspense?

It's taken on Photoshop or something of that ilk.

Hello, all. It's not a fake photo. This was built in the middle of an empty vista.

Plenty o photos on Google -- just let Google lens search for it --- the technology is scary good now.

I do agree building in areas of natural beauty should not be allowed unless of course they are cafes for cyclists and walkers only.

Why the flippin hell would I post a fake photo!!!! It,s real,Tim Holman knows where it is and you will note I put the word"incongruous" in an earlier post,"incongruous-out of place-shouldn,t be there",thats why I thought anybody who,s been on that road wouldn,t forget it.I,ll letTim Holman tell you where and what the building is.
