Dovecote location, Herefordshire

Post by fausto copy »

I watched Mortimer & Whitehouse Go Fishing (episode 6 of 6) last night, where they were fishing on the lower River Wye.
I think the section they fished was near Goodrich Castle, but I'm interested in the Dovecote accommodation that they hired for an overnight stay; although the drove to it, so maybe it's not that close.
Did anyone watching recognise it?
I''ve done the usual gongoogling but can't locate it.
Cheers, fausto.

No, a very good try but not that's not it.

They had drone footage and it was located amongst some incredible buildings with what appeared to be a large walled garden with arches to it.

I'll keep looking, but thanks for your efforts.

On reflection, not such a good try, as Herefordshire and Monmouth are in different countries :)

I believe roads are available for the purpose of travelling between locations. Some even run between countries :D

I decided it would be easier if I watched the relevant bit of the programme. Any better?

Also not in Herefordshire, but looks a bit similar.
