Apropos nothing...

Postby Oldjohnw » 2 Oct 2020, 11:58am

The guy sitting in his car in the car park just next to me is almost lost in his own nose.

Couple of years ago, we parked up at Tesco Callington for a spot of shopping.
Car near us, the chap inside looked asleep - very asleep - and with music blaring out.
After coming out of the store, he was still the same. To be honest, he looked dead.

Mrs Mick F went over to the car and knocked loudly on the window ......... nothing.
Tried again even more loudly ............ nothing.
Tried the doors ........... all locked.
Still the music was blaring, and the chap was slumped forwards and looked dead.

She went into the shop and the manager and a first-aider came out, and they repeated what Mrs Mick F had tried.
They were in the process of starting dialling 999 when the chap stirred. :D
He turned down the music and opened the door ............ and apologised.
