Hi all,
I was looking at riding the entire Route 4 from Fishguard to London next spring but needed advice on actual planning if anyone can help
Obviously the route is easily accessible in detail but I was wondering if there was anything I could use to plot a marker, i.e. every 130-150km so I can factor in where to stop each night.
Or if it had been done before and there was a 'blueprint' for doing it?!
Any advice is welcomed, thank you!
James
NCN4 - Fishguard to London
Re: NCN4 - Fishguard to London
This is the section from Bristol to Reading. Can plot the rest including accommodation using the site.

I've ridden quite a bit of it. South Wales is OK. Bristol Bath is good. The canal sections to the East of Bath are fine if you don't mind going slow. Narrow in places with pedestrian priority.

^ As above, use e.g. Cycle.travel to identify good places to stay overnight and look for suitable accomodation.

If you're looking for ride reports you may find it under "eurovelo 1" from fishguard to the bristol channel and under "eurovelo 2" from the bristol channel to london.
It may also be signed under these routes vs NCN 4 signs.
Luck ........
