Bike rack for Mini Cooper S R53?

Post by newtotouring »

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a bike rack for the Mini Cooper S R53? It's the Mini with the exhausts right in the centre of the rear bumper.

Many thanks.

As always I'd start with Halfords.

Which types would you consider?

Try the search mechanisms on RoofBox.co.uk.
I think you're going to need a roof mounted rack.

As a company, RoofBox seem to be very good: stuff arrives promptly. When I had something fail after a couple of years, it was replaced with a different model at no cost to me, the replacement arrived the day after the fault was reported.

Hello, fellow-mini-owner...
I expect you've thought of this, but the OME, bolt-on, bike racks do come up on fleabay more often than one might imagine... or least they were when I was looking - and before you ask, I decided instead not to buy a rack (my own mini is a covertable, which muddys the waters a bit, but instead to enjoy the separability of my Moultons and stuff them inside).

Try the Saris web site, they have a car selector page
