Hi all, With M.P.'s herding down to Westminster for a bit of a chin wag over the E.U. Deal, another case of prevarication, it raises a serious question - "Surely this breeches the Covid Regulations doesn't it?".
No one is supposed to enter or leave a Tier 4 area without good reason! As they can do on-line business and remote voting the "Essential" tag wouldn't apply!
Bad example as far as I can see. TTFN MM

Generally wearing trousers is I'd say a good example. And essential in this weather.

Maximum 50, with the majority voting by proxy.

Apart from the trouser jokes... : - )
Yes, it's a disgrace. Decreased the efficiency of Parliament, increased the risk of transmitting the virus, terrible example to others.
The Leader of the House should be ashamed.

Particularly as it's all a complete farce anyway. One day to debate such a massive change to the long term future of the UK and for a bill that will still go through however the Commons vote.

Totally agree. And part of a relentless chipping away of the powers of Parliament.
MEPs are getting two to three months to consider and decide.

Johnson does not like Parliament anyway (how dare they question his decisions) particularly given public opinion about his deal

So MPs are being dragged-in to approve something for Johnson that the public (including 60+% of Leave voters) appears to think rather "inadequate".
