No, December_January is the most recent that I can see. When do they normally appear?

The February Edition,??

I don't take the magazine, but surely publishing the Feb edition at the beginning of Jan is a bit confusing.

It's usual with every monthly mag I've seen (all mags - not just cycling) - I think it's traditional. Maybe (as a publisher) if your mag at the same release date had January on the cover it would be left behind in preference to others because it was 'old' ?

Exactly that. Traditional wisdom was that if your "January issue" was still on sale at the start of February, people wouldn't buy it.

It's slightly complicated these days by several magazine publishers producing 13, not 12, issues per year. (The logic behind this is that, with 52 weeks in a year, you'd typically have 8 "four-week months" and 4 "five-week months". Some canny publisher worked out that, if the staff can produce a magazine in four weeks, why not get them to do that every time - so you squeeze another issue out. In practice the five-week months were always very welcome recovery time from the grind of the four-week months!)

Have they caught up with covid yet????

The delay between writing and publication was so big it was humerous reading articles which were completely at odds with what was going in in real time!!

Cheers James

If anyone doesn't know, you can get the electronic version free along with alot of other magazines if you are a member of a library and use the rbdigital app. (Including Viz!)
