What is this ?
Is it a weed or do I save it and feed it?

AKA Aquilegia. A popular garden plant: if you didn't put it there yourself it's probably from a seed escaped from a neighbour's. But be aware that some parts of the plant are very poisonous.
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
Let us pass the time by performing physical experiments...

Aquilegia comes back without any assistance. It's also a prolific self seeder. There is a huge range of colour types. They are at their best in may. The seed pods add a bit of height to flower beds in the winter but if you have a few plants they can very quickly take over. They don't necessarily come back the same colour as the year before due to being bee pollinated. Bees absolutely love them.

Thanks. I knew about the toxicity, but not that it was the same plant as columbine!

I am not so sure it is Aquilegia or Colombine.
The flowers of both of those have a nectary tube extending out away from the base of the flower. See pic.
The leaf shape is correct though and I have searched but failed to find another candidate.
Perhaps it's a cultivar.

The flower, but not the leaf, reminded me initially a bit of Pasqueflower.

Either way I think it is a lovely thing and worth preserving.

I’m certain it is an Aquilegia. There are many varieties including ones such as Nora Barlow which have many more petals than the normal, common flower. The variety shown above is reminiscent to me but I can’t think which it is.
This one is similar, I’m sure you will agree:

I've been trying to get a better picture but the Sun is that bright the camera shuts down the iris.

I've been working on the garage roof ripped all the old felt off and replaced it with box section galvanized sheet. Still quite a bit to do yet but getting there.

Aquilegia for sure.

Whether it's a weed or not depends on whether you want it there.
