Found : Rapha Winter Glove, Walmer Bridge .

Post by colin54 »

Found this afternoon in the road by the petrol station at Walmer Bridge, next to the Flintstone's Car, I left it draped on it's steering wheel (no glove box in those days). £80 a pair !

Yes, that is insofar as a three dimensional representation in stone and wood of a two dimensional cartoon can be said to be The Flinstones' Car :) . It's just parked on a junction island with no explanation, with a large club laid in front of it.
We'll all be driving cars like that afore long.
Happy New Year all.

edit; My apologies PT1029, I now realise you may have meant was it the car from the film, this wasn't it, apparently this car was placed where it sits a while back, by person(s) unknown.
This article from The Lancashire Post explains.

Thanks for the back ground info.
If it disappears, I might have kidnapped it and donated it to Oxfordshire County Council as a means to get them to roll their cycle track tarmac smooth rather than undulating!

Cheers.
