I had to remove the seat from our 2018 Burley Solo trailer for cleaning. Of course now I can’t remember how to get it back again.
Hoping someone has some experience or has one they can take a look at.
The eyelets on the tabs at the back of the horizontal part of the seat don’t seem to stretch far enough apart to be bolted to the holes in the bars of the frame. Is this just an incredibly tight fit? Or have I shrunk the seat when washing it (I didn’t use a hot wash!).
There is also a long strap with eyelets in each end. I thought it went between the same bolts that hold the back of the seat but it’s slightly longer than the seat is wide and the wearing of the eyelets on the seat suggest they went directly against the round bars.

Re: Installing a seat in a Burley Solo trailer
Thanks. I have checked the manual but they don’t seem to show how the seat is installed. The spare parts manual has an exploded diagram but again doesn’t cover the seat, mostly just the frame.

I found a kind Burley trailer owner who had a look so the answers for future searchers…
The strap goes under the seat at the front.
If you soak the strap and seat in water it will expand enough to fit it easily. I soaked for a day and half but it probably doesn’t take that long.
You will probably need to take the suspension off to get to the bolts for the seat back. You will want to attach the springs to it’s mounts after the back mounts are fitted but before the front.
