T4 OWNA on a battered blue van down the road...

Was that on a VW T4 series van? (I think it is up to T6 now).

Nothing 'wrong' with this one but set me wondering. Passed today:
"UYY 1"
Question is: how many people can there be who sport the initials "UYY"? Not many blokes at any rate, I reckon. "Ursula Yvonne Young" perhaps? Any other ideas?
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
Let us pass the time by performing physical experiments...

Could be a bloke of foreign descent?

Could be a business name?Like many it might make absolutely no sense to anyone but the owner.

I used to see K98ARK quite frequently, which i am certain would command a lot of money from a dog person somewhere

I once saw a BMW with the supposed number plate reading "Clive". I was able to get up close and could see that it was actually C4 LYE. I kid you not.

Saw one yesterday on a household fuel delivery truck.
The company is Tricounty. They have a depot in Tavistock.
Coal, gas canisters, logs etc.

TR14 GAS

Quite clever I think.

How do you know it's supposed to read 'Clive'?Do you know the owner or is that just your interpretation?
4 is often used as a/A.7 is used as l/L.

Apparently the DVLA will issue a warning if someone is stopped with illegally spaced ‘personal’ plates. On a second offence they’ll withdraw the plate.

No way of third party reporting, though - has to come via the police…

Some recent sightings of some more RE61'S, as they were spaced :-

MR S7ANO, from Croatia perhaps?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slano
800 JO, not a fan of Bo-Jo perhaps ?
W38STER, perhaps a compiler of a US dictionary - not .
N8NNR, with a screw hole at the foot of the 8 to give the appearance of an A from a distance,

Saw a GAR today.

There's not so many folk on here remember Gar.
Argumentative chap and stirred up trouble.
I wonder where he is now?

TC and R2 will remember him, I have no doubt.

He's only appeared once on this incarnation of the forum, but he was on the last one, and the one before that.

I'm not one for having a personalised reg., but if I were, 4GAR, or M4GAR would fill the bill, even if that spacing might the please the bill. I must have posted before that the old AG2R racing kit has found favour in younger generations of this family
