What about this: https://www.vartools.com/de/repair-kit- ... rank%20arm.
Doesn't appear to show a price, hence it is probably expensive. You may have to register to buy stuff, I didn't research it too much.

175.99 Euros. You can see the price of an item by going to the shopping cart and typing the code for the item in to the quick order field.SimonCelsa wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 4:53pm What about this: https://www.vartools.com/de/repair-kit- ... rank%20arm.

That's a little more than RJ the bike guys $4 offering. Well done for sussing out how to obtain the price from the VAR website!

If you're careful you can clean up and reform a damaged thread using a sharp pointy thing like a scriber. May take some careful scraping and a bit of time, but in the absence of a tap its worth the effort to try it.

Google says Wiggle have pedal thread chasing taps.
Also lots of potentially dodgy stuff on thiefbay etc.

Depending on what problem you’re trying to solve, maybe one like this would help?
I had a particularly stubborn Octalink, where someone had already damaged the threads - this got it off. Perhaps it’s because I’d freed it, but I also found that the regular puller would work.

Try to borrow one? Consider buying one? It'll have many uses in the future...

I don't believe they make them anymore.
I've used these from Wiggle before.
