Just to show I'm reading, the animal maligned as a troll is a pine marten

I was cycling in town today trying to avoid the most heavily salted bits of road ( it's got very cold here over the weekend ) when I thought to myself " I wish this road wasn't salted I wouldn't have to wash this bike down when I get back home."

Then I thought trying to justify myself
" the counsel would save some money if that didn't happen "

Then another thought
" cars would just have to drive slower "
