Colin Lewis RIP

Post by NATURAL ANKLING »

Hi,
I was talking to this cyclist tonight on my way home and Colin Lewis was mentioned, I didn't know he died.

I know a number of people on here have mentioned him along with myself in the past, he was double Road race champion in 67 and 68.
I bought two new bicycles from him one in which I still have from 1983.
Did my Devon and Cornwall and borders ride on it :)
Countless other bits and frames of course.

Anybody who visited his shop in Paignton from 1976 on might've seen also Dave Bedwell used to build wheels for him nice guy, Colin was also very pleasant to speak to.
Dave Bedwell is referenced at the bottom of Colins wiki page.

Thanks for updating us. I hadn't heard either. I saw Colin occasionally when he was racing in the South West and followed his career with interest. He was a classy rider. RIP.
