Post by Heavyweightcyclist »

Hello I am just introducing myself as I am new. I posted last night but nothing has appeared on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. As a bit of friendly advice, if you want people to read and reply to your posts, an explanatory subject line will attract the best results

Hi there. Not finding any of your posts, hwc. Perhaps re-post, with a tempting subject line (as per tc's advice)

Hope that helps.

That's odd, it says there are two posts, but when you search for them it says there aren't any

I moved Heavyweightcyclist's first post to the introductions thread. I have moved this thread to the help section & reported it to admin for the problem with the search results on 'search user's posts'.

Fixed again, and made more robust. Getting the hang of how Sphinx works, slowly...

There seems to be a problem with the search user's posts again. (Your posts & new posts are working ok, though?)

viewtopic.php?p=1692729#p1692729
does not turn up in
search.php?author_id=47924&sr=posts

search.php?author_id=194&sr=posts doesn't show any of the posts from the last couple of days, etc.
