Montpellier - suggested road bike rides

I'm heading to Montpellier for a couple of weeks this summer and was wondering if anyone could recommend any road bike routes in that area?

Best TdF stage ever...especially as Poli only attacked because he'd also been out on his own most of the previous day and only just got caught before the finish that time.

We went to the Cevennes, and to area around Carpentras ,in Provence. Much of the hinterland makes for good cycling.

I’ve spent several holidays in Ganges,which is the start of the Cevennes. Lots of nice hilly but not mountainous (it’s semi officially called basse montagne) rides around there as well as a few flattish. People are nice too, even when driving cars. Mt Ventoux is miles away, but if you want flatter stuff head for the coast or the marshes.
