Hi folks,
Looking for a chain with 112 links ready to fit to my old Raleigh 15 speed mountain bike. I only use the middle crank sprocket and gears 2,3,4 on the rear. Can't be bothered with removing pins and shortening etc. Do I have to buy a longer chain and shorten it or is there something that will fit ready made? The original chain is a kmc half inch chain with 3/32 rollers. Will a chain for a single speed bike be suitable? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
A single speed 1/8" chain would not be suitable.
For your stated use and purpose a SRAM PC-8XX will do what you need out of the box at 114 links and is highly likely to work across the bikes full gear range without alteration.
It would be advisable to renew your freewheel at the same time as the chain.
