I have a broken 'return spring' - the spring that the cable pull operates against, I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say......anyone know if replacements are available or whether I just need to buy the whole unit?

They don't show the spring as a separate part in the Shimano tech-doc

Here are some generic replacement cantilever brake return springs on ebay do they look any thing like yours ?

Thanks Colin, much appreciated. Those ebay springs aren't at all similar. I've come to conclusion that given the price I may as well just replace the whole unit.
