Bought one of these https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fab ... content=GB and couldn't figure out how to work it... The lever seems to lock it onto the valve then you push it towards the valve and a sliding mechanism releases the gas. This works when you blow through it but I got caught out on the road y'day and it didn't work (Had a spare so OK, not getting caught out by ANY new products at the mo....). Anyone got one of these ? Something I'm missing or are they duds ? Got it on special offer with a load of cartridges which are OK....
Cheers,
Bruce.

Had one these on a rental bike, flatted, tried to use it and it fell apart.
Luckily the mini-pump included with the rental worked.

Were you using it on a Schrader or Presta valve? (I have a theory...)

Re: Fabric FB Co2 Trigger Tool
Just had another look at it, can't blow through it with the spring depressed any more, Can't decide weather to return it or dismantle it....

The Truflo ones (also available under other names) are very reliable. Just check the red valve is screwed tightly shut before you screw on the canister.
