Soft Rim Brake Pads

Post by Slowroad »

Hi, I'd like to keep my nice Mavic rims going for as long as possible so I'm looking for soft brake pads for my RX100 calipers. I've been recommended these https://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-r460c ... ads-campag but I'm not sure if they are actually a 'soft' brake pad - too cheap? Would these be better? https://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-r470t ... s-and-pads.
Thanks!

Soft pads are actually worse because they embed grit and chips of alloy. Anyway, the answer is always Kool-Stop salmon pads.
