Traffic-free Cycle Rides

Post by ratherbeintobago »

Anyone know if this book (reviewed in Road.cc):

Is the new version of this one which I’ve already got, or are they different?

They just look very similar…

i think that they are different... the second edition of Cotton says "more than 400 cycle routes" and the Sustrans says "150 of the country s finest traffic-free walking and cycling routes'.

If my recent trip to the Middlewood Way is anything to go by, I think it means motorised traffic.

That’s certainly true, and a slightly sad indictment of the state of our roads (no way am I going out on the local roads with my smallish children)
