Nominative determinism

Post by Mike Sales »

I was pleased to see the name of a Swedish swimmer in the European Championships was;
Sarah Fredrika Sjöström is a Swedish competitive swimmer specialising in the sprint freestyle and butterfly events. She is the current world record holder ...
Her name translates as sea current.
It's the same the whole world over

It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

I was running a small business when, in a phone call, a VAT person asked my name. When I told her she said, "No, I mean your name."
