I went to Halfords today to buy a new rack bag. I checked price and availability online before going to my local Halfords to make the purchase. The online price was £33.70 but in store the price was £47.00. This often happens at Halfords, and on this occasion, as in the past, the in-store staff said that they would charge the online price. I then produced my Cycling UK card and the current voucher on my phone, but the till system wouldn’t allow the discount to be applied.
I have made purchases like this a few times at Halfords in the past, and there has never been a problem.
Have any other members come across this situation?
Cycling uk discount at Halfords
Re: Cycling uk discount at Halfords
Yes, but not sure if it was with the Cycling UK discount or another one. Just the same: no discount on the online price.
What I can't remember is whether that was with an online discount "offer" price or the standard online price.

I found the current voucher wouldn't work a week or two ago.
