Pinion gearbox issue / repair

In case anyone finds this later and/or has a similar issue, I'll summarize what happened.

I have recorded a video/audio of the issue and got in contact with Pinion support again.
They were quite convinced the problem must be with the hub, as they are doing quite thorough testing of the gearboxes during repair.

At some moment I realized that rear hub on the bike is simply normal shimano-type hub, and I can try swapping the wheel with another bike.
Half a weekend of taking things apart, reassembling and test rides I almost convinced myself the issue is indeed with the hub.
Will know for sure next week, once the wheel is back from my local bike shop from repair.

One unexpected finding - it was very difficult to convince myself the issue is in the hub, because belt drive does incredible job of transferring the feedback from these dings and skips into the pedals. It really feels they are coming from the gearbox.
