My brother is an avid cyclist, lives in Australia, and tours and audaxes. Drop him a line at chopper@pushbike.org - he'll be happy to advise. He also has a website: http://www.pushbike.org/

Hi Kris. Did you have any luck? He can be a little slow in replying, as he doesn't pick his emails up every day? Did you get a response?

Suggest you read "Cold Beer and Crocodiles" by Roff Smith, ISBN 0-7922-7952-2: National Geographic Society. Good read. Roff rode 9500 miles round Oz about 5 years ago. I have a copy if you cannot locate one.
