you dont sign a deal with Shell, that you can walk away from that easily imo, I suspect there will be a break clause in 4 years where either party can probably choose to part ways, though it will likely cost BC money. So theyll have to wear the hair shirt for a while yet.

No! The link to the Shropshire Star article 5th Sept didn't work - sorry! It described a splendid new clubhouse at the side of the circuit at the Shrewsbury Sports Village. Funded mainly by BC who had also ensured that the circuit was created in the first place. The then Shrewsbury council had no idea that cycle circuits existed.
