I think the bigger and more immediate question is how long Twitter will survive rather aspects of Trump on the platform.

I heard that he is sulking and doesn't want to Tweet anyway, so there.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

Recent history tells us we shouldn't write him off no matter how mad and obnoxious he seems.
I think there is still a good chance the Republicans will choose him again.
If Boris had contested the leadership race and faced Sunak then, as neither would have withdrawn, I think there was a very good chance the Tory party membership would have put him back in No 10

ps: the raising a subject without expressing a view with "discuss" - bit like being back at school and being assigned hom, ework by teacher. We are not school kids needing to be told what to talk about.

I find a statement followed by "discuss" to be aggressive.

Sounds like a lot of other companies are trying to snap-up the Twitter s/w engineers who resigned after Musk presented them with his "offer" (long hours for no extra pay).
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/22/twitter-elon-musk-staff-tech wrote:Don’t like Musk? Work for us! Tech firms woo ex-Twitter staff
Put off by Elon Musk’s muscular management style? Move to us! That’s the pitch being used by talent-starved technology firms trying to lure thousands of former Twitter employees laid off by the social media company under its new owner.

Hundreds more are reported to have quit as a result of his sweeping reforms. On Monday, the head of French operations was the latest senior manager to leave.

Spying opportunity, some companies are now trying to pick up experienced engineering talent by appealing to their disdain for the methods of the world’s richest person.

I don't know how to interpret this beyond it highlighting Musk's right wing views

Billionaire says he prefers ‘someone sensible and centrist’ but that he had been disappointed by the Democrats so far

Elon Musk has said he would support Donald Trump’s arch rival, Ron DeSantis, in 2024 if the Florida governor were to run for president.

“Yes”, Musk said in a tweet when asked if he would support DeSantis in 2024, after suggesting he had not found his ideal candidate among Democrats....

Reported today that Musk has now dissolved yet another of Twitter's oversight groups
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/dec/12/twitter-safety-council-dissolved-before-meeting wrote: Elon Musk’s Twitter abruptly dissolved its Trust and Safety Council on Monday night, just moments before it was scheduled to meet with company representatives.

The council was an advisory group of nearly 100 independent civil, human rights and other organizations that the company formed in 2016 to address hate speech, child exploitation, suicide, self-harm and other problems on the platform. But Twitter informed the group via email that it was disbanding shortly before the meeting was to take place on Monday, according to multiple members.

And it wasn't even costing Twitter money!

And, additionally Musk mis-represents academic writings of Twitter's Head of Trust and Safety causing him and his family to have to flee their home.
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/dec/12/twitter-safety-council-dissolved-before-meeting wrote:Outlets including the Washington Post and CNN reported on Monday that Roth and his family fled after Musk’s tweets misrepresented Roth’s academic writing about sexual activity and children.

As head of trust and safety at Twitter, Roth was involved in many of the platform’s decisions about what posts to remove and what accounts to suspend.
